Planting Seeds In Stone: How to Create a Senior Market in an Unlikely Place
John Ratchford
www.ratchfordphotographic.com
John will share how he created a lucrative senior market in the most unlikely of places - the edge of the world in Cape Breton (that's in Canada) where there is 40% unemployment and no understanding of the senior market! If you are feeling like senior photography won't work where you live or you are having trouble educating your clients on the value of senior photography, come hear how John Ratchford has forged a thriving senior business with aggressive and creative marketing.

The owner of more funky glasses than Elton John, John Ratchford was born and raised in North Sydney, and photographed his first wedding over 25 years ago when he was 15. Photographic art has nudged him for as long as he can remember, finally giving into it in 1994 when he started full time in the business. It was a tough time to start, internet was in the infancy stages and it was hard to get your name out there. Persistence has paid off, and Ratchford is now in demand from across the country to down in Florida. He has also been the recipient of numerous awards both nationally and internationally, as well as a sought after lecturer in Canada, the United States and Europe.
